Roasted tomato sauce

The easiest, and I’d have to argue, most flavourful way of making tomato sauce is in the oven.ย One can of tomatoes, one onion and a head of garlic all coarsely chopped. ย Add a few bay leaves, basil, oregano and olive oil and slowly roast in the oven at 350, covered, for a couple hours.

Use this on pizza, pasta or anywhere also you enjoy tomato sauce.

    Time saving by not standing there watching onion/garlic sweat, etc.,etc.. I will let you know after I try the recipe and tasting it. Bravo and thanks, Marieanne!
